Grants
Sharon Public School administrators, faculty, parents, students, and community members may apply for funding in support of enrichment projects and professional development that benefit the school community.
SEF funds a broad range of projects, including but not limited to those focusing on traditional academic subjects, visual and performing arts, promotion of multi-cultural and community learning experiences, and professional development.
Grant funds may be used for:
-
Innovative educational projects that fall outside the normal school budget
-
Consultants, guest speakers, artists, or performers who assist the project’s implementation
-
Tuition, training, and travel expenses related to the project’s goals
Annual Grant Cycle - SEF reviews proposals each spring for projects that are implemented the following academic year.
Intra-Year Grant Cycle - Intra-Year Grants are grants that are available to members of the Sharon community outside of the regular grant cycle. They are offered for initiatives that support our mission whose activities will be completed by the end of SEF’s current grant cycle ending June 30th.
2021-2022 Grant Proposals
To fully support our teachers and students during the 2021-2022 school year SEF will review grants on a rolling basis. Once a proposal is submitted a board member will respond by email with a timeline of our review process.
SEF only accepts electronic submissions, via email to Sharon Education Foundation at sharoneducationfoundation@gmail.com.
